It is the perfect bike for taking with you on your boat, RV, plane (if you're lucky enough) or car because it has no chain grease to get on clothes or hands, has a fully enclosed chainless drivetrain so it lasts longer in salty and sandy environments, and folds in half for convenient storage or transport.

The Sidekick 8 features a light aluminum frame with an easy-to-operate release hinge, collasible handlebar, and foldable pedals that allow you to quickly and easily pack the bike down to a compact 14''W x 30''L x 22''H without any tools in just 15 seconds. The Sidekick 8 uses the Shimano high efficiency Alfine 8-speed hub, offering a versatile range of gearing in a very compact space. We combine the Shimano hub with a new specially designed chainless shaft drive that maximizes the Shimano 8-speed gearing on a 20'' wheeled bike so you can navigate streets, hills, sidewalks and waterfront areas smoothly and easily.

In addition, the Sidekick 8 features reliable alloy linear pull brakes, alloy rims and 1.75'' tires for soft rides, great control, and excellent resistance to rust and corrosion. With the Sidekick, you get clean, safe, portable transportation you won't find in a chain bike.
